no, I still like rice---there are many different types and some are good for you.

Do you know the difference between the types of sushi: chirashi, maki and nigiri? (otherwise known as the you know you have lived/been in japan too long when...)

ugh, sushi is more like a class of food than just one type---chirashi sushi is usually a bowl of rice with fish placed on top, maki is rolls and nigiri is what people think of when they think of sushi (the piece of fish OR egg or ?? placed on top of a tiny amount of rice). Not all sushi is fish---there is a whole group of veggie sushi and still not sure where to place egg in that classification....
